JOB SUMMARY
As a Data and Analytics Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and building client facing assets and managing a team to contribute to the overall delivery of a successful project. This role involves managing projects by leading clients throughout the project, ensuring their requirements are fully met. To do this, you will also need to develop detailed work plans that can be followed by a Vizify project team to deliver a project on time, in full and within budget. The role spans the end to end delivery of solutions and will require a high level of communication with the Vizify Project Manager to deliver a cohesive solution.
At a manager level you will act as a project manager, as well as a line manager. Strong leadership credentials and project management experience in the field are critical to being successful in this role.

Understand a clients business needs and objectives related to data and analytics.

Define project plans and schedules that can meet the objectives of a client.

Manage individuals on client team to enable them to be as effective as possible, continually reviewing work and providing actionable feedback.

Continually communicate with the client to build a tailored solution.

Identify project risks and mitigation strategies, recommending best course of action to client and/or client director.

Implement data management best practices best practices to collect, clean, augment, reshape and prepare data for analytics.

Design best practice dashboards and visualisations that effectively communicate data as insights.

Analyse and interpret client data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform decision-making and drive business value, whilst making recommendations.

Conduct quality assurance and quality control on your own work and reviews on colleague’s work.

Document and present your work in a range of formats at a client ready standard.

Optimise analytics work to ensure efficient use of resources.

Continually learn and develop skills that are relevant in the field and complete certifications and qualifications whilst demonstrating continuous improvement in capabilities.

Keep all data secure, following all information security policies and highlighting any weaknesses that are identified.

Recommend robust processes to clients to ensure their data is kept secure.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

Bachelor's degree. Computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in data and analytical consulting with a high level of proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, such as SQL, Snowflake, Python, R, and/or MATLAB, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerApps & Dataverse, Plotly, Looker or ThoughtSpot.

Effectively manage a team through deadlines and time pressured tasks.

Strong communication skills ability to manage clients and colleagues throughout a project.

Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
